This year at the Anlaby Churches our focus is:

To seek by God’s grace to grow as a prayerful community of mutual love, living out the joyful loving life of the Trinity in our relationships with one another, flowing out into the wider community

Amongst other things, this summarises the source and goal of gospel culture: In all our relationships we seek to reflect the joyful life of the Trinity; this is what we are made for, and what we will participate in forever. This is why, as well as songs about aspects of gospel culture, I’m including songs about the Trinity and heaven. This is what we were made for, what God is doing in us now by his Spirit, and what will continue to be the case for eternity. Hallelujah!
